Surgery including Orthopaedics, ENT, Ophthalmology,
Anaesthesiology, Casualty and Dental Surgery, Paediatics,
Obst. & Gynae and Community Mediine

Pulmonology
Pulmonology or pneumology is a medical specialty that deals with diseases involving the respiratory tract. It is also known as respirology, respiratory medicine, or chest medicine in some countries and areas. Pulmonology is considered a branch of internal medicine, and is related to intensive care medicine. Pulmonology often involves managing patients who need life support and mechanical ventilation.

Cough
- Barking cough, where a child's cough sounds deep, like a bark from a seal or dog.
- Whooping cough, where your child has short, violent coughs sometimes followed by an intake of breath that sounds like a whoop.
- Coughing and wheezing. Wheezing is a high-pitched whistling sound when a person breathes.
- Dry cough, where your child coughs and does not produce any phlegm or mucus.
- Productive or wet cough, when a child coughs and produces mucus or phlegm.
- Persistent cough, which is a cough that lasts for more than 3 weeks and may worsen in severity.
