  • Timing: 4:00 PM to 9:15 AM (next day)
  • Orders placed during this window are approved and executed at market opening (9:15 AM)

Currency Market Timings​

Normal Trading Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM IST

Key Points:

  • Currency derivatives (USD-INR, EUR-INR, GBP-INR, JPY-INR)
  • Traded on NSE, BSE, and MCX-SX
  • Settlement follows T+2 cycle

Commodity Market Timings​

Trading Hours:

  • During Daylight Savings (March to November): 9:00 AM to 11:30 PM IST
  • November to March: 9:00 AM to 11:55 PM IST

Extended Hours: Commodity markets have longest trading hours among all Indian market segments.
