Terms of Service

These terms cover Portfolio Alerts, a personal Google Apps Script project written and used by Deepak Sood (the "owner"). It is a private tool, not a public product or service. The owner is its only user.

Use of the app​

  • The app is for the owner's own use only. It is not offered to the public and has no sign-up.
  • It reads one private Google Sheet, checks price alert rules on a schedule, and emails the owner. See the privacy policy for exactly which data and permissions it uses.
  • Authorisation is granted by the owner to their own Google account and can be revoked at any time at Google Account permissions.

No advice​

Alerts, summaries and AI-generated commentary are informational only. They are not investment, tax or financial advice, and may be late, incomplete or wrong. Any decision made from them is the owner's own responsibility.

No warranty​

The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Delivery of alerts is not guaranteed. It depends on Google Apps Script, Gmail, market-data sources and the Gemini API, all of which can fail or change.

Liability​

To the extent permitted by law, the owner accepts no liability for losses arising from use of, or reliance on, the app.
